How to import Users using the Users Import Tool?

What is User Import Tool?

It is a tool for loading bulk Users using a User Import template.

Step 1:

Navigate to Users

Click on the new Import Users button located on the top right corner.

Step 2: 

Under Download User Template section, click the Download button to download the template.

Step 3:

The Template looks like below screenshot.

When filling in please note to fill in all the columns

The Type column has drop-down list to choose from.

The Dialling code has a drop-down list to choose from.

Once the Template is filled in, Saved it.

Step 4:

Click on the Select File button under the Import Populated Template section to select the file to upload

Once selected, click on the Import button.

Step 5:

You will see a pop message at the bottom of the screen confirming that an email will be sent to you once the User(s) have been imported.

Step 6:

Once the email arrives, click on the View Summary button link to confirm that the Users were imported.

You can also navigate to the Users screen to confirm that the Users have been Imported.

Step 7: 

The Users will be shown as below to confirm that they have been imported.

Similarly, if there are Users imports which have failed, they would show on the same screen.

You can place your mouse over the highlighted fields to see what is required.
